Guidelines for a technical infrastructure?

What I consider to be the most important things to consider when designing content and guidelines for a technical infrastructure?

That you follow the overall governing documents for the IT business/environment so that The IT infrastructure is in line with reality. That you use guidelines to describe how the IT infrastructure is structured with guidelines. Guidelines for infrastructure should include principles for IT operational responsibility, Roles for managing IT infrastructure, and IT platform/network. Internet connection and firewalls and access to Active Directory can be guidelines. Guidelines for application structure should also be available and included in the description of the technical infrastructure that addresses business-critical applications etc. That you have principles in the design of the technical infrastructure that describes how you should proceed when choosing strategies, IT solutions, work processes, etc.

When is it reasonable and appropriate to produce one common technical infrastructure and if so, what scope should it have?

In any case, it should be reasonable to develop a company-wide technology infrastructure in a larger company such as a bank. It should include a common infrastructure that supports mission-critical systems. Principles and processes how IT issues, decisions and systems must be processed, etc.

Circumstances? This is because everyone in the management from each part of the organization must be involved and provide support in the IT work so that delegation does not take place and IT solutions are prioritized away. Then management does not get involved in important IT decisions. It is then important that there are no more conflicting technical infrastructure documents.

I hope this will help you to get some ideas and guidelines for a technical infrastructure”.
